We are a Swim Wales Dragon Mark Performance Level 3 Club.

LSSC has launched a brand new Triathlon Section: LSSC TRI

The club is open to all abilities from beginners to more seasoned triathletes.  Come and learn or improve in triathlon within a fun, friendly and dynamic club affiliated to the British Triathlon Federation.

Training Alert

Due to the Caretaker being in hospital in Tonyrefail School Pool, the sessions next week are still going to be affected, we will run with what we had last week

F1/F2/F3   -Sunday morning (1st March)  at 9am - 10.15am - Llantrisant Leisure Centre.
Normal Sessions on Thursday
F4  - Tuesday 3rd March - Tonyrefail Leisure Centre - 7pm - 8pm -
Normal Session on Thursday & Friday
F5 - Tuesday 3rd March - Beddau School Pool - 6.45 - 7.45

There is of course the Grand Prix on the Sunday  8th March


Llantrisant sharks excel at the Urdd championships

Llantrisant Sharks swimmers turned out in force to represent their schools in the all Wales Urdd national competition. Swimmers had to win their heats across the whole of  Wales to attend the finals in Cardiff. on Saturday the 24th and Sunday the 25th of January.  
The younger swimmers enjoyed some great fun competition on the Saturday swimming really well for their primary school teams. 
On Sunday the secondary school pupils took to the pool all swam extremely well. Finalists were Iestyn Francis 100 freestyle,Ethan Brown 100 breaststroke, Sarah Clode 100 Freestyle, Brooke Richards 100 freestyle, Jacob Cousins 100 Backstroke and 100 Fly. Medalists James Hobbs Bronze medals in 200 IM and 100 Breast stroke and Grant Davies was the fastest pupil in the pool all weekend winning Gold in the year 11 and over 100  freestyle in a time of 55.94 seconds da iawn!
